So it's a public holiday Monday and I'm at home relaxing, blogging :) Just letting the day pass me by.
In about half an hour I'll probably put on my i-pod and venture to the backyard to fill in the big holes created by my wonderful two dogs. I may even venture down to the beach and take Myah, out Rotti for a walk.
I took her out yesterday and she's a big girl, about 52kg's. She has a little fat here and there but it's mostly just the way she's built. Anyway I let her off the lead, it's a pretty deserted beach and she never ventures too far away and always comes when I call her. I noticed a few dogs ahead in the distance of their lead and quickly put her back on and as I watched ahead I noticed one large black dog literally charging down the beach toward us and the dogs owner in fast pursuit behind him. I off course started panicking because Myah can be a bit funny around certain dogs and so started jogging in the other direction, trying not to look too panicked (but off course I was). The dog comes right up to Myah and starts sniffing her, puts a bit of his attitude out there (arched back, raised hair) and then leaves.
I feel really sorry for Myah, she's such a beautiful spirit and because she's such a big scary looking dog people (and dogs) think the worst of her. If people (and dogs) just stopped staring her out all the time she'd be fine.
Well I'm going to get onto the backyard.
